About

Hello, I'm Eva

I've spent my career in places where the details matter and shortcuts show: ten years in sales and trading at RBC Capital Markets, and before that, brand management and luxury events.

For fifteen years I was the busy professional with limited holiday time who couldn't afford a trip that went sideways. That's who I plan for now: families, milestone celebrations, reunions with old friends and executives who travel more than they'd like. Born in Hong Kong, raised in Toronto and now between Toronto and Calgary, I've travelled to almost 40 countries, and counting.

Where I've been lately

My recommendations come from first-hand stays and site visits. A few recent trips:

New York

Fifteen hotels in one week, from The Mark and The Plaza to The Greenwich and Crosby Street.

Mamula Island, a round stone fortress hotel alone in the Adriatic

Montenegro

A few days at Mamula Island, a 19th-century fortress alone in the Adriatic. History, five-star service, the best meals of the trip and a spa to match.

A pool framed by tall palms at a whitewashed Riviera Maya resort

Riviera Maya

Belmond Maroma, dinner at Woodend, and a candid look at Hotel Xcaret for families.

The Yasaka pagoda above a lantern-lit street in Kyoto at dusk

Japan

Visiting family in Hong Kong, then my first real vacation all year in Tokyo and Kyoto.

A male lion looking straight into the camera in Zambia
A vervet monkey family with a baby in a tree in Zambia

The One Fine Voyage difference

How I plan

01

Rigour you can rely on

Clear timelines, proactive communication and contracts read line by line. Every recommendation is vetted first-hand. If it's in your itinerary, I stand behind it.

02

Built around you

I take time up front to learn your pace, style and budget, plus the details most people wouldn't think to mention. You get the right places for these people, not a list of good hotels.

03

Polished, not pretentious

Properties with character and service that remembers your name, unhurried days with room to breathe, and splurges saved for where they matter most.

04

In your corner

If a room falls short or an experience doesn't deliver, I know the property and how to make it right. For many clients, that's the most valuable thing I offer.

Partners

Backed by a global network

ForaVirtuoso, specialists in the art of travel

One Fine Voyage is an independent affiliate of Fora Travel and a member of Virtuoso. That gives my clients preferred rates and VIP perks at thousands of hotels, cruise lines and on-the-ground partners worldwide.

I work with vetted destination specialists and luxury suppliers rather than piecing trips together from booking sites, and I visit properties in person so my recommendations come from having stood in the room.

From a client

“She knows her stuff: a seasoned luxury traveller with similar high tastes and expectations, she knows what we like and the kind of places we like to stay.”
